The Irish Association of Social Workers
The IASW CPD Committee has accredited the SAFE Ireland Summit 2016. As of May 2015, the IASW Board have amended the IASW policy in relation to allocating CPD points in the light of the new CORU SWRB’s CPD Standard and Requirements Framework:The IASW CPD committee will continue to accredit courses as relevant to the social work profession. But it is the individual social worker’s responsibility to allocate CPD credits themselves (as stated in the CORU SWRB CPD Framework) for new and enhanced learning resulting from attendance at the event. This is based on the principle that one hour of learning is equal to one CPD credit.
Self-directed Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
For delegates who are eligible for self-directed Continuing Professional Development (CPD) learning, attendance at the SAFE Ireland Summit 2016 is equal to 13 CPD Credits. Certificates of Attendance will be issued by SAFE Ireland on request.
